[CANMEDLIB] DEADLINE EXTENDED/DATE LIMITE PROLONGÉE: Call for Nominations/Appel de mise en candidature

Hello all, 
As we have not yet received any nominations for the CHLA/ABSC Board position of
Secretary (for the period of 2022 to 2024), we have extended the deadline for
this position to April 11th, 2022.
The role of secretary is a fantastic opportunity for library workers at any
stage of their career who are looking to get involved (or re-involved!) in the
association. If you are considering submitting a nomination but would like to
learn more about the position first, do not hesitate to reach out! 
Procedures:
Nominees must be individual members of CHLA/ABSC in good standing. All
nominations must be signed by two (2) members in good standing of CHLA/ABSC.
Nominations must be submitted in writing to the Nominations Committee, and shall
include the nominee’s written consent to stand for election. The candidate
must also submit a brief biography, as well as a personal statement of aims, for
the Association. Nomination and consent forms are attached to this email. 
Members of the Board are eligible for re-election provided that no member serves
more than two (2) consecutive terms.
Nominations must be submitted to the Chair of the Nominations Committee no later
than April 11, 2022.

Comme nous n'avons pas encore reçu de candidatures pour le poste de
secrétaire du conseil d'administration ABSC/CHLA (pour la période de 2022
à 2024), nous avons prolongé la date limite pour ce poste jusqu'au 11 avril
2022.
Le poste de secrétaire est une opportunité fantastique pour les travailleurs
de bibliothèque à n'importe quel stade de leur carrière qui cherchent à
s'impliquer (ou se réimpliquer !) dans l'association. Si vous envisagez de
soumettre une candidature mais que vous souhaitez d'abord en savoir plus sur le
post, n'hésitez pas à nous contacter!
Procédures
Les candidats doivent être membres individuels de l’ABSC / CHLA en règle.
Toutes les mises en candidature doivent être signées par deux (2) membres de
l’ABSC / CHLA en règle.
Pour qu’elles soient admissible, les mises en candidature doivent être
soumises par écrit auprès du Comité des mises en candidature et doivent
inclure le consentement écrit du candidat ou de la candidate. Le candidat ou la
candidate doit aussi soumettre une brève biographie accompagnée d’un
énoncé personnel de ses objectifs à l’égard de l’Association. Les
formulaires de mise en candidature et de consentement sont attachés.
Les membres du Conseil d’administration sont rééligibles, à condition
qu’aucun membre ne réalise plus de deux (2) mandats consécutifs.
Toutes les mises en candidature doivent être soumises à la Présidente du
Comité des mises en candidature au plus tard le 11 avril 2022.
