In this course, led by Julie Glanville and Carol Lefebvre, you will learn advanced techniques for building search strategies for systematic reviews and other major search projects. Gain skills in identifying search terms and deciding which search concepts to include, search filter issues and avoiding common and not so common pitfalls. Learn about resources and searching beyond MEDLINE/PubMed, particularly about Embase and the Cochrane Library.



The course begins with readings and reflection questions available upon registration. You'll have homework and discussion questions between sessions and opportunities for discussion and questions of instructors after the second session.



All participants will be enrolled in the Slack course workspace.
