Did you work in a Canadian health library setting at any point during the COVID-19 pandemic, for any length of time between December 2019 and today? If yes, we want to hear from you by inviting you to participate in a survey on Health Information Services during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

We are a group of health library researchers in Ontario and Quebec and want to learn more about different individual experiences working through the pandemic response and to better understand the varied roles that library professionals undertook during this period.

Who can participate? We are looking for staff of all type from health libraries or health information services centres (e.g. library technicians, library clerks, librarians, information specialists, managers, supervisors, directors or library staff who retired during this period), from a variety of organization types, including, but not limited to: hospitals, public health agencies or authorities, regional health centers, medical school or university/college health sciences libraries and federal or provincial government ministry libraries.

  *   We encourage multiple staff from each organization to respond to this survey as participants will be responding as individuals and not on behalf of their home organization or employer.
  *   We encourage responses from small or rural health libraries as well as urban centres.

How long will it take? 20-30 minutes to complete.

Any incentives? Upon completion, you can enter a draw for a $30 gift card. Your decision to be entered into the draw is separate from the survey itself.

Avez-vous travaillé dans une bibliothèque de santé canadienne à un moment quelconque durant la pandémie de COVID-19 entre décembre 2019 et aujourd'hui ? Si oui, nous voulons vous entendre en vous invitant à participer à un sondage sur les services d'information sur la santé pendant la pandémie de COVID-19.

Nous sommes un groupe de bibliothécaires-chercheurs en santé en Ontario et au Québec et souhaitons en savoir plus sur les différentes expériences individuelles de travail pendant la réponse à la pandémie afin de mieux comprendre les rôles variés que les professionnels des bibliothèques ont assumés pendant cette période.

Qui peut participer? Nous recherchons du personnel de tous types provenant de bibliothèques de santé ou de centres de services d'information sur la santé (par exemple, technicien.nes de bibliothèque, commis de bibliothèque, bibliothécaires, spécialistes de l'information, gestionnaires, superviseur.es, directeur.rices ou personnel de bibliothèque ayant pris leur retraite pendant cette période), provenant de divers types d'organisations , y compris, mais sans s'y limiter : hôpitaux, agences ou institut ou autorités de santé publique, centres de santé régionaux, bibliothèques des sciences de la santé des facultés de médecine des universités/collèges et les bibliothèques des ministères fédéraux ou provinciaux.

* Nous encourageons plusieurs membres du personnel de chaque organisation à répondre à cette enquête, car les participants répondront en tant qu'individus et non au nom de leur organisation d'origine ou de leur employeur.
* Nous encourageons les réponses des petites bibliothèques de santé, des bibliothèques rurales ainsi que celles des centres urbains.

Combien de temps cela prendra-t-il? De 20 à 30 minutes.
