The University of Washington defines “digital scholarship” as any scholarly activity that makes extensive use of one or more of the new possibilities for teaching and research opened up by the unique affordances of digital media. These include, but are not limited to, new forms of collaboration, new forms of publication, and new methods for visualizing and analyzing data.

Does your library collaborate with other academic departments on campus in promoting digital scholarship projects? Does your library collect, preserve, and host these scholarly projects, and how do you promote them to your target audiences?

For our spring 2022 meeting, we are seeking "lightning round" presentations (10-15 mins) where you describe how your library collaborates with other academic departments in promoting the dissemination of digital scholarship projects.

  1. How have your library been involved in the promotion of digital scholarship endeavours?
  2. What online tools do you use to promote and engage with your target audiences?
  3. What collaborative opportunities have you explored?
  4. How does this collaboration meet the research and learning objectives of your library and academic institution?

Complete the proposal form today! ---- > https://form.jotform.com/220584589715164 (deadline: April 8, 2022)
