Dear colleagues,

We are working on a scoping review, looking at librarian involvement in the continuing education of health sciences clinicians. Our focus is on how librarians in both academic and clinical contexts are contributing to continuing education through group teaching activities (e.g. library workshops, faculty development programs, grand rounds, departmental meetings, etc.). We are interested in both accredited and non-accredited sessions.

We have completed our database searches and would like to fortify our findings with grey and unpublished literature. To this end, we are wondering if any list members have and would be willing to share the following with us: conference abstracts, conference presentations, or newsletters/bulletins that describe a librarian-led group session that was taught to health sciences clinicians (in academic or clinical settings). These materials can be shared via email to Jackie Phinney at j.phinney at dal.ca<mailto:j.phinney at dal.ca>.

Additionally, if you know of anyone who has done research on this topic, we would appreciate knowing so we may contact them directly.

For more context on our project, you can view the slides from our presentation of preliminary findings at WILU 2021 ( https://dalspace.library.dal.ca/handle/10222/80977) or contact Jackie Phinney off-list.

Sincerely,
Jackie Phinney
