*Please feel free to share this invitation with your colleagues*
You are invited to participate in a survey of ARL and CARL librarian support of systematic reviews (or other knowledge synthesis projects) in the Sciences, Humanities, and Social Sciences (SHSS).
This is a specialized form of research that is already well-established and supported in the Health Sciences, and we want to:
· Benchmark current SHSS librarian involvements in systematic reviews
· Determine SHSS comfort and competence with systematic review processes
· Identify library administration support for SHSS librarian participation in systematic reviews.
The survey takes approx 10-15 minutes to complete. There are no known risks greater than everyday life for this study. The benefit of participating is the chance to contribute to the field of knowledge on systematic reviews outside of the health sciences.
The link to participate as well as the informed consent information can be found here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2020SysReviews
If you have questions about participation in this research study, please contact Mê-Linh Lê (PI), Health Sciences Librarian, University of Manitoba at me-linh.le at umanitoba.ca<mailto:me-linh.le at umanitoba.ca> or 204-228-6775 or you can also contact the Human Ethics Coordinator at 204-474-7122 or humanethics at umanitoba.ca<mailto:humanethics at umanitoba.ca>.
Thank you,
